In case the title isn’t a complete giveaway, I’m talking about the Lemon Tree Hotels, Specifically, the one in Gurgaon.
Now as most people know- Gurgaon is home to some of the best offices, best places to eat and some of the really awesome hotels. Basically- it’s a very “happening” place but travelling there is somewhat a pain- owing to huge amounts of traffic. Lucky for me, the office had put me up in the Lemon Tree Premier when I had to take a trip down to our branch office- I am based out of Mumbai but was in town for the week. So the first thing we did was obviously Google for “hotels near Gurgaon sector 14” because that’s where my branch office is and Google, that brilliant search engine- spat out the name of Lemon Tree and that was it.

My experience at LT Gurgaon was a wonderful one from the start- the warm welcome only an indicator of things to come. The staffs are so courteous and helpful- I had to but mention what I wanted and it was done in a jiffy. Really amazing, a perfect example of exemplary customer service. Their rooms are also pretty great- truly a cut above the rest.
And what better than a rejuvenating spa session after a long day in an (slightly) unfamiliar office! I was, to put it in their words, actually feeling “fresh as a lemon”.
All-in-all, I think it was less a business trip and more of a vacation! Highly recommended.
Travel Tip: For people unable to locate it – it’s near Maruti, Gurgaon.
